The TAB Scholarship Foundation is a Non Profit Organization that is committed to the growth and development of high school students pursuing a college degree.

The Tanya Andrea Burdette Scholarship began with a statement made by her brother Johnny James Burdette Jr. at the first birthday celebration after her transition to be with her heavenly father. Members of her family and friends began the journey to launch the TAB Scholarship. In 1988, Tanya graduated from Lakeside High School in the top 10% of her class. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree i

n Psychology from Georgia Southern University. She also obtained an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Business College. Upon her death, she was working on her Master Degree in Education from Anderson which she was awarded after death. Tanya was a dedicated member of the Sorority of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. She had strong ties with many community projects and outreach programs such as Dream Girls, Every Single Mother Deserve a Second Chance and volunteer work with Faith in Service Humanity (FISH). Community services were a huge part of her commitment to give back to others as well as her community. The motto “A Legacy for Passion, Excellence and Success” is a true representation of Tanya Andrea Burdette. The TAB scholarship is committed to the growth and development of high school students pursuing the next level in their educational journey. It is important to us to aid and develop talented young Americans in pursuit of higher education. Through gifts provided by donations and fundraising, the Tab Scholarship is able to provide scholarship to deserving students on an equal opportunity basis regardless of race, s*x, creed or religious preference.

We had a blast yesterday... We sold out. Went and got more and sold out again. Thanks to everybody who came out and all of those who sent donations. You guys are Amazing!!!

WE DID IT!.... Thank you to everybody that partnered with us for our "IN For 10 CAMPAIGN"..With your support we were able to give 10 .. 500 dollar scholarships to 5 amazing young ladies and 5 amazing young men. We are still looking for a couple of more people to partner with us as we plan to give TEN $500 scholarships to high school seniors going to college. We are asking TEN families or businesses to commit to one scholarship and join us as we make this school year the best one ever. Are you IN FOR 10?
