Bill Maness Good Samaritan Scholarship Fund, Inc.

Bill Maness Good Samaritan Scholarship Fund, Inc. It is based on the life works of Bill Maness, a man who dedicated his life to identifying young people who were in danger of losing hope for a productive life.

The Bill Maness Good Samaritan Scholarship celebrates and encourages Atlanta high school seniors to rise above their personal and financial challenges in order to help those in need. The Bill Maness Good Samaritan Scholarship is based on celebrating and encouraging extraordinary young people who are showing a lifelong commitment to helping others. He then designed unique programs to set them on a

road to success through education and/or involvement in sports. Our program seeks graduating high school students in Atlanta who have exhibited exceptional qualities of being a Good Samaritan and who will continue to develop these qualities in college and beyond. Financial need and proven scholastic abilities are essential parts of the consideration. Each year applications are sent to area high schools. After a rigorous qualifying and interviewing process, one student is selected for our four-year scholarship ($16,000 total/student). Students are held accountable for good grades each semester so that they remain qualified for continuing scholarship financial support.
