Congratulations to Christopher Scott on being named to the Atlanta Business Chronicle 40 Under 40—recognizing exceptional young leaders making a meaningful impact in their fields.

We’re proud to have had Chris join us as part of our recent (RE)CHARGE panel, where he shared insight on mentorship, leadership, and navigating career opportunities in tech with students, coaches, and emerging leaders in the room.

Moments like this—taking the time to connect directly—are what it’s all about.

As a Project Manager at Microsoft, he continues to lead by example both professionally and in the community.

Well deserved.

Last week, we brought together students, coaches, and emerging leaders for a powerful day of learning, connection, and real conversation around AI, leadership, and career readiness—in collaboration with Microsoft.

From an interactive workshop to a high-level panel featuring voices connected to Georgia Tech Athletics and the Atlanta Dream, the energy in the room was special.

Shoutout to our moderator Zachary Sharp, a journalism major at Morehouse College, for leading an engaging and thoughtful conversation and setting the tone for the room.

We’re proud to create opportunities that place young people in positions of leadership.

Appreciate all of our panelists and partners who made this possible.

We’re excited to announce our March AME Fore the Future Book Club selection: Who Was Jackie Robinson? by Gail Herman.

Beginning March 7th, our students will dive into the inspiring story of baseball legend Jackie Robinson—learning about courage, perseverance, leadership, and how sports can create lasting change in our communities.

Happy Birthday to Jackie Robinson,
the first African American to play Major League Baseball — a pioneer whose courage transcended the game.

His bravery didn’t just change sports; it challenged injustice and helped move our country forward. Jackie Robinson showed us that leadership means standing firm in the face of resistance and using your platform to create opportunity for others.

One of our favorite quotes by Jackie Robinson:

“There’s not an American in this country free until every one of us is free.”

A message that remains just as powerful today — and one that continues to inspire future generations to lead with courage, purpose, and excellence.
