Arthritis Foundation Alaska

Arthritis Foundation Alaska We're committed to leading the fight against arthritis by helping the arthritis community conquer everyday battles while forging the path to a cure!

The Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) leads the way in helping people with arthritis live better today and create better tomorrows through new treatments, better access and, ultimately, cures. We do this by:

• Funding life-changing research that has restored mobility in patients for more than six decades
• Fighting for health care policies that improve the lives of the millions of American

s with arthritis
• Partnering with families to provide empowering programs and information

As the nation’s largest private funder of research, public health programs and advocacy on behalf of the 54 million Americans with this painful disease, the Arthritis Foundation aims to reduce the number of people suffering from arthritis-related physical activity limitations by 20 percent by 2030.

"Feeling alone." 💚

It's one of the most common — and hardest — squares on our JA bingo Card.

Living with juvenile arthritis can feel isolating, but you don't have to navigate it by yourself. Whether you're a child, teen, young adult, parent or caregiver, there's a community here that understands what you're going through.

Our JA Connect Groups are one way we bring people together to share experiences, ask questions and remind each other that no one has to face juvenile arthritis alone.

Whether you’ve found support or are learning more about juvenile arthritis, share this post to help raise awareness that no family has to go it alone.

"2+ hour doctor trips." 💚

For many families living with juvenile arthritis, this isn't just a square on a bingo card — it's reality.

A nationwide shortage of pediatric rheumatologists can mean long drives, missed school, missed work and extra expenses — just to see a doctor.

No family should have to travel hours to access the care their child needs.

Learn more about what's causing the shortage — and how your advocacy can help change it. https://arthr.org/4eAeXp7
