Educators Without Borders Educators Without Borders is a facilitator to connect educators to opportunities utilizing the pre-established volunteer projects in various countries!

During June 24-26, 2016, my team attended the Global Student Leaders Summit in The Hague, Netherlands. We went through various design thinking challenges that concentrated on human rights efforts. The goal of the summit was to create a world changing idea that was based on multiple, challenging problems throughout the world. We chose the problem of education for refugees because of reading Adnan's

story. Since then, we have expanded to education for all. We worked as a group of eight creative team members to ideate possible solutions. After two days of intensive thinking, testing, and re-testing the idea, we presented it at the Global Innovation Village where 130 teams came to spread information about their potential solutions to global problems. We were judged based on the following criteria: sustainability, efficiency, teamwork, possibility to be implemented, and the least amount of money needed. At the closing ceremonies, our idea was chosen as the best idea. Jeremy Lutz then pitched the idea in under sixty seconds to everyone attending the summit. We were told that our idea will be displayed in a Human Rights Museum in Sweden.
