Under the direction of Maestro Henry Hao-An Cheng, the evening celebrated growth, legacy and the next generation of artistry through the brilliant works of Mendelssohn and unforgettable performances by renowned guest artists David and Julie Coucheron. Meet Julie Coucheron!

Julie is an incredible pianist who will be performing as an honored guest alongside her brother David at our season finale. 🎹

Julie shared with us that playing Felix Mendelssohn’s Double Concerto is an exciting endeavor as it feels like a conversation between the violin and piano. When she's not performing, Julie enjoys wakesurfing. 🌊 .

Meet David Coucheron! 🎻

Concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, he'll be performing alongside his sister Julie at our upcoming season finale. He and his sister grew up making music together, inheriting a legacy from family and teachers that they hope is passed on through their performances.

When he's not performing, David loves to be outdoors, whether it's sailing, hiking, or just spending time in nature! 🌲
