Whew we have been busy! Both with donors and recipients! We are so pleased to be a part of this circle! Most of you know we don’t pay for donor milk or charge recipients. How can you help? Do you have an old car sitting around? Donate to us to help us keep this sustainable!

This week reminded me of why we keep doing what we do. Yes we gave a large donation to a family who drove hours for the milk, but the most important thing we did was twice this week we gave quality lactation support to families who can now increase their own supply. That’s our goal. It’s why we do what we do. Thanks to all of you who support, donate, and share this resource. Oh and to that family who donated those 2 very nice coolers 2 years ago I want you to know we are still using them to transport milk. Thanks everyone!!

One of the beautiful things about is the way that we can show up for families who need us. is happily breastfeeding but had to pause for an unexpected medical issue. She was so happy to work with us. The additional blessing is of her mom who is now our unofficial/official fundraiser. She is spreading the word about us and getting so many people to donate to this beautiful cause. We are so glad we could be here for them and they are truly showing up for us! Thanks again! #

We can’t let the day close without thanking everyone for a successful . We are reminded that the work we do matters; not just in the quiet ways but in ways that resonate long after the interaction. Here are some of our highlights:

A former Milk Alliance family donated $250. When I called her to thank her she said she was so happy to get our email and grateful that we’re still here doing the work.

Angela Orenzack IBCLC an advisory board member became a monthly donor! How supportive is that! She says she wants to inspire others to do the same.

Atalya Rajahn, CBS, MPH, IBCLC wrote a beautiful post that lifted us up yesterday, but she always does. She’s consistent, loyal, and the best director of everthing 😂 here Ready Set Push Inc that we could ever ask for.

Stacy-Ann Louie and Rebecca Kerby shared and reposted our posts all day. They donated too! It was like they were pushing us all day to keep going! Thanks so much to the both of you.

Sonia Pahade our intern made a donation and that definitely made us want to push harder.

So many of you lifted us up, encouraged us to do the campaign and supported us in real ways. We appreciate all of you. Tamara Mason, MPH, CHES thanks for the push and the money🥰. Nicole Gray you started us off strong encouraging people to remember us yesterday. Your support is so important and we don’t take it for granted.

This collective support has been inspiring to say the least. Thanks to all of you again. We will definitely be at it again but most importantly we’ll keep pushing through the boundaries and standing in the gaps for families who need it
