The Neighborhood Challenge Golf Tournament is just around the corner, and we’d love to see Candler Park represented on the course!

On Friday, August 21, 2026, neighborhoods from across Metro Atlanta will come together at Browns Mill Golf Course for a day of a Fun & Friendly competition, networking, and community pride.

This isn’t just another golf tournament—it’s an opportunity to represent your neighborhood and compete for bragging rights while supporting a larger vision of bringing Atlanta’s neighborhoods together through positive, community-focused events.

Thanks to everyone who approved the CPNO budget request vote for monthly funding to fill our neighborhood free pantry. The pantry was nearly empty and now it’s stocked for our neighbors in need again. This is the good work of hyper-local community support.

We've seen the reports of neighbor concerns for safety in Candler Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. Did you know that you can join the Candler Park Lake Claire Security Patrol? This is a neighbor-funded patrol that provides policing to fill the gap in police presence from the City of Atlanta. The more neighbors that join, the more hours of patrol coverage we can get.
