A proclamation by the Atlanta City Council announcing that Money Smart Week® will be held April 5 - 12, 2014, in the city of Atlanta, was was presented in the council chambers on Monday, March 17. Presenting the proclamation was Ceasar C. Mitchell, President of the Atlanta City Council.

Money Smart Week® Greater Atlanta is an initiative of Urban Asset Builders, Inc., in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The one-week campaign promotes the importance of financial literacy and provides hundreds of financial education events and courses nationally.
