Born out of a passion for helping families and creating change in undeserved communities...The Black LotUS Project is a way to react to the negative outcomes plaguing those in underserved communities. The founders Brittney London and Natalie Anita Brady envisioned the reality of the solution in proper resource sharing, artistic therapy, opportunities, and programs that foster life skills and heali
ng. A loss of innocence, but in turn were both provided with wisdom and skepticism of the criminal justice system. In 2020, during the creation of their award winning short film, Duvar, a story focused on telling the story of yet another father who is incarcerated, the founders boldly stepped further into their autonomy and knowledge and began working to make a change. The Black LotUS Project is physically located in Atlanta, Georgia, where it intends to serve local communities through its programs and services.The Black LotUS Project believes they can eradicate the negative outcomes endured by many, one resource and creative opportunity at a time.
