I AM ARTS is a multi-dimensional arts educational provider that uses creative arts learning to expose and develop the habits of mind including: problem solving, critical and creative thinking, integration of multiple skill sets, collaboration and team work skills, integrative wellness, self-confidence, and cultural awareness. IAA has developed several creative arts in learning programs to service the needs of our constituents. IAA uses a multi-disciplinary and integrative arts approach that allows our learners to embrace greater artistic meaning. IAA’s curriculum platform utilizes the integration of visual arts, drama, poetry, music, movement, and storytelling art forms in all art forms. The use of technology, tableaus, questioning strategies using Creativity Infusion Matrix (CIM), indeokinesis, Laban Movement Analysis, project-based learning, arts integration, and Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) are used to help student’s critically analyze their impulses to notice, create, and perform. IAA aims to not only inspire professionals in the arts, but more importantly to challenge the dormant spirits of artistry, creativity, and self-purpose in individuals.
