Our goal is to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer while using funds raised to provide academic scholarships for graduating High School Seniors.� Antonio P.

Lane Jr. is a Childhood Cancer Survivor of 23 years. He was diagnosed at age five with a rare form of cancer known as Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor (PNET). It is a rare tumor, usually occurring in children and young adults under the age of 25, with him being the youngest child to be diagnosed at that age. Antonio has used his story to inspire and bring awareness to numerous cancer survivors acro

ss different platforms. Antonio was a 1995 Make-A-Wish Georgia recipient. He currently volunteers as a wish granter for the Georgia chapter of Make-A-Wish and participates in long-term follow-up study opportunities with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Antonio is a HBCU graduate of Albany State University where he obtained a Bachelor Degree of Business Management and a Master Degree of Business Administration. He has a high compassion and regard for cancer awareness as well as giving back to the upcoming generation in the area of education. The purpose of starting this project was to raise awareness for cancer while using funds raised to sponsor academic scholarships for graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education. Developing this newly established project, Antonio has created the annual “Antonio P. Lane Jr Childhood Cancer Awareness Academic Scholarship” for graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education. His hopes are to help minimize the financial burden on college students while providing guidance on life after graduation.

During our Art of Community Fundraising Gala, we had the honor of recognizing Ja'Ziyah as our Community Outreach Recipient — a bright and resilient young warrior on her cancer journey. 🎗️
