🎞 Short Films
🎓 Student Submissions
📱 Microdramas (our NEWEST category!)

Submission Deadline: AUGUST 16 ⏳

To qualify, your project must feature at least ONE of the following:

🖤 Black Female Writer
🖤 Black Female Producer
🖤 Black Female Lead Role

We want bold stories, fresh voices, unforgettable characters, and creative storytelling that deserves the spotlight. 🌟

As you’ve probably heard, the Black Women Film Network is ON THE ROAD TO 30!!! Yes, that’s right! We've been advocating SINCE 1997! 🎊✨️ Next year, we turn 30!! To honor this occasion, WE are asking YOU to help US design our 30th Anniversary Logo!!

The instructions are simple:

1. Incorporate our Official Logo or Reimagine our Artistic Logo
2. Include: Est. 1997
3. Colors: Burgundy/Wine with accents of black, white, metallic

4. EMAIL your submissions in png or jpg format by JUNE 1 to:

UPDATE: More Tickets Just Added!!

Meet us on Saturday, May 16th, 4:30-7:30pm for the re-scheduled MASTERCLASS: KIDS IN FILM & TV, featuring a panel of AMAZING “momagers” whose kids have graces the stage, screens, and streaming alongside an effective children’s acting coach and a compliance attorney.

Also note: Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Calling all my fashionistas! We are sitting down with aka Tiffany Hasbourne, the “it” film and TV costume and wardrobe designer. With a nearly two decade career, this visualizer has accrued a vast network of clients including Lena Waithe, Missy Elliott, 50 Cent and French Montana. She’s also styled for the casts of High School Musical, HBO’s Ballers and most recently USA’s Shooter. Her diverse experience as both an accomplished stylist and costume designer will make for an engaging conversation!
