Atlanta Region LGBT Advisory Council This is the official page for the Atlanta Region chapter of SSA's National LGBT Advisory Council. To promote community involvement and volunteerism.

OUR OBJECTIVES

To serve as an advisory body to agency leadership regarding issues that affect the LGBT community. To actively support the agency's policy and actions of non-discrimination, with respect to the recruitment, training, career development, retention, and advancement of LGBT employees. To encourage and support communication, networking, outreach, and sharing of ideas among the membership, Central Office, Regional Offices, and other Advisory Councils in an effort to work cooperatively with all employees. To create a safe, nonjudgmental, and nurturing environment for all by recognizing, valuing, and promoting the diversity of all employees. To promote community involvement and promote the diversity of all employees.
