Congrats to Judge Joyette Holmes as Cobb's new DA. And also thanks to Governor Brian Kemp for making it possible. The Governor is 2 for 0 this week! There was first Latino appointed to Insurance Commissioner and he is the first Latino Statewide office holder. Big week for the citizens of GA.

Joyette Holmes, Cobb's chief magistrate court judge, will be the county's first female and black district attorney. Holmes will serve out the term of Vic Reynolds, who is now the GBI director.
