What an incredible way to wrap up our final week of Summer Lab!
This week, our students kicked things off with Survivor: A+ Edition, tackling 5 team leadership challenges that put their communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to the test. We also spent time at Chastain Memorial Park, where students enjoyed the playground and a few classic games of Red Light, Green Light! Our young entrepreneurs then stepped into A+ Shark Tank, where teams created brand new products out of Play-Doh and pitched their inventions to our panel of A+ Shark Tank Coaches, making their case for why their idea should become the next big thing in the market. In the afternoon, students reflected on the year ahead by creating “My Future Self” Vision Boards, filled with their goals, dreams, positive habits, inspiring words, and images to keep them motivated throughout the school year. We’re so proud of everything our students accomplished this summer. Thank you to all of our students, families, and supporters for making Summer Lab such a success. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for an amazing school year!
