Giving is the most rewarding activity anyone can ever do. This Holiday Season don’t forget those in need. When you see a Toys for Tot Box give an unused toy. If you see the Empty Stocking Fund give what you can. Everything helps with the cause. Not only can you give Toys this Holiday Season but give your time as well at a local shelter in your community. Collect nicely used clothing and take them to a shelter. Simply make your community better by investing in its people.

Thank you to everyone who continues to like our page. We believe that everyone has something to give weather it is time, talent, or a donation. Most importantly is to be a cheerful giver. There is always a child in need. In order for any child to have a productive future you have to begin with their early childhood ensuring they have the tools needed for success. That begins with housing, food, and education. Help us to make a difference in the lives of our children.

Thank you to all of those who have liked Hugs and Handshakes. Yes we are getting back into the swing of philanthropy. Events coming soon and will be a full calendar for the year 2020. Again the theme of for next year is Clear Vision. Hugs and Handshakes has a lot to offer the adolescents in need Community.

Hugs and Handshakes primary focus will be working in the community shelters that house children throughout the state. We need to place an emphasis on kids being hungry. Of course events are on the way for you all to participate in donating.

Hugs and Handshakes will be participating in the Atlanta Children’s Shelter 5k to Stomp Out Poverty. There are more than 2500 hundred kids in shelters throughout the city of Atlanta. Some have their parents or parent and others have no one. Regardless of the circumstances no child should go hungry.
