Each year, MAP International presents the Bill Foege Global Health Awards to recognize people and organizations whose contributions to the progress of global health measure substantially.

This year we were delighted to recognize the extraordinary contributions of Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Carlos del Rio, Dr. Katalin Karikó, and all the frontline healthcare workers who bravely protect us.

UPDATE: Special thanks to our partners, MAP International and International Relief Teams, for getting these 1,100 Disaster Hygiene Kits to us. We have the kits positioned for distribution should they be needed.

His contributions to the global health community also stand out as remarkable achievements. Tonight, the Atlanta Global Health Community recognizes Ambassador Young's unique contributions by honoring him with the Bill Foege Global Health Award.

MAP International along with The Carter Center, is providing neuropsychiatric medicines and supplies to help people in need. Medications will be distributed to hospitals and clinics throughout Liberia, where there are trained health care workers, including mental health clinicians.
