Great News! No ACT or SAT Required (optional) for 2020-21 cycle.
Attention ! In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, for the 2020-21 admission cycle, Howard University has implemented a test optional policy for undergraduate first year admission consideration.
As such, SAT/ACT test scores will not be required to render an admission application complete. Moreover, students who do not submit test scores will not be at a disadvantage in the admission process. This policy will extend to students who are interested in the Karsh Scholars Program.
Scholarship determinations that require evidence of academic performance will be altered appropriately to accommodate fair consideration of those who chose not to submit test scores.
