Fatherhood Solutions, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to provide Fathers with education and resources to build stronger Families. Fatherhood Solutions, Inc. was created to be a highly engaging and energetic process that helps Fathers identify education and resources within their community in order to overcome any barriers that may have previously existed.

Fatherhood Solutions, Inc. The mission of Fatherhood Solutions, Inc. is to help FATHERS obtain the education and resources needed to build stronger FAMILIES.

Fatherhood Solutions, Inc. is seeking experienced and influential professionals, with a commitment to growing and expanding the impact of the organization. The ideal board candidate is a person that is a doer and is solution focused!!

The board’s responsibility is to ensure that the organization is fiscally responsible, accountable to its clients and the community, and remains sustainable. In addition to policy and governance, board members will leverage their network and contacts for the furthering of the organization's mission, as well as, to raise funds for the operating budget of the organization.

Time commitments and Accountabilities: It is important that the candidate is competent in time management. Aside from regular meetings, board members are expected to participate in one committee or project and participate in fundraising events and initiatives.

The candidate must attend monthly board meetings (3rd Saturday of the month); Lead and actively participate in committee meetings /calls; Lead specific Fatherhood Solutions, Inc. projects.

Term: 2 years

Time (approximate): A minimum time commitment of 10-12 hours per month

Board Dues: Board Members are required to pay annual dues

Qualifications:

● Expertise in one or more of the following industries: Human Resources, Sales, Marketing and Public Relations, Finance (CPA or Banking), Event Planning, Fundraising/Grant Writing, IT, Legal, and Operations (Process Management).

● Board experience preferred, but not required

● Direct Leadership experience preferred

● Prior experience in nonprofit environment a plus
