Urban Perform We are striving for people to live healthier, longer lives in low resourced communities where obesity and hypertension are rampant. Thanks to the ArthurM.

We are an establishment providing access to affordable programs that merge physical fitness and personal wellness, empowering the Westside of ATL to live healthier lifestyles. Our story (the super quick version!):
We began because residents in English Avenue asked for a safe place to exercise. In January 2012, we officially opened our doors in the shared space of a church with a focus on youth fi

tness. Due to community involvement we quickly added Zumba and group fitness classes for adults. Over the course of the last 2 years, we have grown significantly due to community members attending the $2 classes (kids under 18 exercise for free), a grant from the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, GoodSports, the annual Casino Night fundraiser, and individual donors. Blank Family Foundation grant and the Miami Dolphins equipment donations, we celebrated the grand opening of our new facility on May 31, 2014! We’re bringing the neighborhood together to celebrate, connect, and explore everything the Grove Park Recreation Center has to offer! Whether you've lived here for years or are new to the area, come out and rediscover your local hub.

This event is FREE and open to all ages and backgrounds. Grab your neighbors and bring the whole family!
