The EACA Transportation Committee is evolving! ✨ They are using their monthly meetings to make a direct impact in EAV. Check out the photos from their most recent cleanup, which reopened approximately 400 feet of overgrown and previously unusable sidewalk. 👏 We love having safer and more usable sidewalks!

More neighborhood improvement projects are planned in the months ahead, offering you opportunities to make a visible impact in the community.

So, join the committee’s next meeting THIS THURSDAY to get involved and make a difference.

🗓️ 6/25 from 6:30-7:30 PM

📍Meet across from Ormewood Park

👉 Please bring a flat shovel if you have one! We will be focusing on bike lane clearing.

We had a great time at our May EACA community meeting! 🌟

As you can see from the photos, we had an amazing turnout filled with important updates, engaging Q&A sessions, community conversations, and plenty of familiar faces. And of course, Mookah kept everyone fueled with hot dogs fresh off the grill 🌭🔥

We loved gathering outdoors and bringing neighbors together in such a fun, welcoming way. If you enjoyed this style of meeting and would like to see more outdoor gatherings like this, let us know in the comments! 👇

Couldn’t make it? You can catch up on everything in the meeting minutes linked in our bio.

Tomorrow is our monthly community meeting, and we’d love to see you there!

Due to ongoing construction at Brownwood Park Rec Center, this month’s meeting will take place at the Brownwood Park Pavilion. While we won’t be able to offer Zoom access this time, we hope you’ll join us in person to connect with neighbors and stay informed on what’s happening in our community.

Hear updates from public safety partners, elected officials, and committee leads, and take part in a special Community Q&A featuring Ken Zeff, Atlanta Public Schools Board Member, and Joanne Francis Wyckoff, Ed.S., Director of Early Learning for Atlanta Public Schools.

Your voice and participation help shape our neighborhood, so come be part of the conversation. We hope to see you tomorrow!
