The Mayville Chapter had an awesome weekend at Allegheny State Park! 🎣🚣☀️

The boys and mentors enjoyed a full day of fishing, biking, kayaking, and swimming while taking in God’s beautiful creation. We were also excited to welcome a new boy, Calvin, who experienced both his first time kayaking and his first time fishing!

After lunch, Wyatt joined Director Mark in leading a devotional on building strong relationships that help draw us closer to God. The day wrapped up with the drawing for their Lake Erie charter raffle winners and a big thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser by purchasing tickets.

The ride home was a quiet one with plenty of tired boys, but excitement is already building for next month’s trip to Georgia for Truth in Nature Summer Camp! 🙌🏕️🎯

🔥 What an Incredible Week at Truth in Nature June Summer Camp 2026! 🔥

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for all that God did this week.

Fatherless boys from 9 chapters across 6 states came together for an unforgettable week of carpentry, archery, shotgun shooting, fishing, worship, fellowship, and time in God’s Word. Every day was filled with adventure, but the greatest work happened in the hearts of these young men.

The Brookville Chapter had a great weekend on the water chasing fish and making memories. More importantly, it provided an opportunity for mentors to spend quality time with the boys, building relationships and sharing encouragement along the way. 🎓 Congratulations to our 2026 Truth in Nature Scholarship recipients!

We are proud to recognize DJ Sceals from our Carrollton Chapter and Kal-El Washington from our Charleston Chapter as this year’s scholarship winners.

Both young men have demonstrated outstanding character, leadership, perseverance, and a commitment to their faith throughout their time in Truth in Nature. We are grateful to have watched them grow into the young men they are today and look forward to seeing how God continues to use them in the future.

The Milledgeville Chapter had an incredible weekend in Bryson City! 🏞️🚣‍♂️

From great food, fellowship, and a devotional on peer pressure and keeping our eyes on Jesus, to tackling the rapids of the Nantahala River, the boys made memories that will last a lifetime.

Weekends like these build brotherhood, character, and faith while experiencing God’s creation alongside godly mentors. 🙌

The Bunnell Chapter enjoyed a great day on the water chasing redfish. The fish didn’t cooperate, but that didn’t stop the boys from making memories and enjoying God’s creation together.

Program Director David Emery shared a devotional from Matthew 14, where Jesus walked on water. The boys were reminded of two important truths: following Jesus doesn’t mean we won’t face storms, and when we keep our eyes on Him instead of the storm around us, He will keep us from sinking.

A great day of fellowship, fishing, and growing in faith!

🌊🎣 The Baton Rouge Chapter is officially underway!

For their very first program, the boys headed to Elmer’s Island where Mentor Don taught them the basics of surf fishing. From reading the water to making the perfect cast, the boys got hands-on experience while enjoying God’s creation along the Louisiana coast.

We’re excited to see what God has in store for this new chapter as boys build skills, friendships, and faith through outdoor adventures and Christ-centered mentoring. Welcome to the Truth in Nature family, Baton Rouge! 💪🎣✝️

After a week of being Storm Tested, these boys took the next step and publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ. There is no greater victory than life change through the Gospel. ✝️🌊

Last night’s worship was powerful. We are seeing hearts soften as boys begin to worship freely and draw closer to the Lord. Tonight, they will hear the Gospel clearly and have the opportunity to respond to the invitation of Christ.

Please join us in praying for open hearts, bold faith, and life-changing decisions. We are preparing, praying, and coming with great expectation, believing God will continue to move in a mighty way.

The first full day of Truth in Nature Summer Camp 2026 has been right on target! 🎯

The boys have stayed busy learning new skills, building friendships, and making memories in God’s great outdoors. From the range to the lake and everywhere in between, every activity is an opportunity to grow in confidence, character, and faith.

Most importantly, they are spending time in God’s Word and being challenged to trust Him through every storm. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week holds!
