Back to old faithful. Many moms find a hospital grade pump extremely helpful when they are pumping full time for their child. This momma just returned hers back to her local WIC office since baby just turned 1. But she will use her at home pump while she works to decrease her supply. Have questions? “I feel like we aren’t making progress.” It can be so hard to find the positives when things don’t go as planned. That’s where a group of like mom friends can help. .leche.league is built on peer-to-peer support from mothers. A leader is able to help give resources and information from their trainings. But you learn best form tips from other moms. Each situation is unique but you can take what might work from you and use it. Or if something doesn’t sound like it will work you can leave it.

This isn’t how it was supposed to go. You weren’t expecting things to be this bad. And they are telling you that baby isn’t able to be held. Your heart is breaking right now as you look at this little life you want to protect.
If this is your story, we are here to help. Knowing how to provide breastmilk to your baby is not something you have studied. Maybe your questions include: how often to pump? How do I know I’m getting enough? Why is it so sticky? What good are just drops anyway?
