Are you taking field trips? Where are you going? How many dancers do you take? How do you prep them? Are they free? What mode of transportation are you using? How long does it take for approval? What resources are you using to find new experiences for your students?
✨BRING ALL OF YOUR RESOURCES and QUESTIONS to our informal conversation on THIS SUNDAY! Login to share or ask questions!✨
As a high school dance educator, Vershion Lee once coordinated up to 15 field trips in one year — to ensemble performances, college and theater tours, competitions, festivals, dining experiences, professional & college shows, overnight stays, etc. Those experiences were some of the most rewarding (and educational!) parts of her program. For many, the field experiences are what peaked their interest & kept them dancing!
Join us on November 9, 2025 at 2 PM (EST) for a virtual collaborative discussion hosted by the Dance Educators of Georgia Society (DEGAS).
💜We’ll share resources, best practices, and success strategies for planning and leading meaningful dance field trips — whether you’re in K–12, a studio setting, or an arts organization.
Let’s keep our dancers learning beyond the classroom!
