RED ❤️ WHITE 🤍 & BLUE 💙 4th of JULY PARADE Fun!!
Join Us to mark the parade’s 50th ANNIVERSARY this year! Organizers are planning to go all out for the Druid Hills Fourth of July Parade, adding a block party to the festivities complete with lemonade, sweet treats, burgers and live bluegrass performed by The Four O’ Clocks. 🎸
Also on deck will be King of Pops King and a Grindhouse Killer Burgers food truck! 🍔🍭🍋
Grindhouse will be serving a variety of burger options, including classic beef burgers as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
The local fire department will also have a firetruck on-site for the kids to explore. 🚒
A beloved Druid Hills tradition since 1976, the 4th of July Parade was founded by Juanita Edwards and continues to grow each year. Dress in your red, white, and blue, grab your musical instruments or anything with wheels, and parade alongside friends and neighbors!
💙 Arrive early at 10:15 a.m. for the children’s bike, wagon, and stroller decorating event. July 4th decorating supplies will be provided by local organizations and the Druid Hills Civic Association. And plan to stay a while after the parade for the block party!
♥️ The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. on July 4th at the corner of Oakdale and The By Way. March along with a local fire truck, our local Boy Scout troop, a police es**rt, and our “neighborhood marching band”—open to all ages and abilities.
🎆 This year, we will keep the 4th of July festivities going with a fun block party. It’s going to be great and we can’t wait to see you there!
