Allow me to introduce you to my friend Jimmy Tran. He grew up in Vietnam without access to clean water. Now he is living here in the United States with one life goal. To save as many children as he can from the world water crisis! He is a true inspiration and I am extremely blessed and humbled to have had him enter my life! He will be walking with A Village For A Village in support of charity: water on May 31st at Piedmont Park. Will you? On May 31st, Atlantans are going to form their own Village at Piedmont Park. Everyone will walk 2.5 miles with empty water containers, they will then fill up...

It is with great sadness that I announce that we will be postponing our walk until another date. If there had not been a forecast of severe weather we would have pressed on. We could not run the risk of possible safety concerns. We look forward to announcing the next date of the walk and hope you I haven't made it official yet. But we are looking to reschedule.

Unfortunately, the Atlanta Track Club has made the decision that we will not be able to carry water at The Peachtree Road Race. While this is a bit of a speed bump in our efforts this year we are going to press on! We will now be doing the same distance, we will be doing the same stretch of Peachtree Road, the only difference is we will now do it July 3rd, and we will be walking/carrying water on the sidewalks instead of down the middle of the road. The GOOD NEWS is, you no longer have to have a Peachtree Road Race Number to participate! All are welcome and all participants will receive a t-short!
