Out team sports include goalball and beep baseball while our recreational activities include kayaking and tandem biking. We continue to explore other sports for the blind as we seek to get more people involved with our programs at both the youth and adult levels.

🏒🔔 Trying Something New at GBSA!

A huge thank you to Steven and Caitlyn Atkinson for coming out to our Goalball practice yesterday and introducing our athletes to the sport of blind hockey!

Our athletes had a blast getting some hands-on experience with hockey sticks and wiffle balls with bells. While blind hockey is played on ice with an actual puck that has a bell, this was a fun way for everyone to get a feel for the sport and try something completely new.

We love giving our athletes opportunities to experience different sports, learn new skills, and most importantly, have fun! ❤️

Congratulations to all the teams that placed at the Savannah Youth Goalball Invitational! 🎉

We are amazed by what these young athletes can achieve. They played hard, supported each other, and showed so much determination and heart throughout the tournament. 💪

We’re proud of every athlete who took the court and helped make this year’s invitational such a great success!

What an amazing weekend at the 4th Annual Savannah Youth Goalball Invitational! 💙

A HUGE thank you to all the teams who traveled to Savannah and came out to compete! We had a fantastic turnout, and the athletes played hard, supported each other, and gave it their all on the court. 💪🔥

We’re so proud of everyone who participated and helped make this tournament such a great success!

Now it’s time to keep working, keep improving, and get ready for Youth Nationals in November!
