Meet Firefighter/EMT Alec Smith! He is a valued member of “A” shift on our department! He is and continues to be a great asset to the Atlanta Fire Department! He loves to crack jokes and have a good time but when the tones drop he’s all about business. Here’s a little about FF Smith!

Personal Info: From Hooks TX, he is 26 years old, USMC vet, before the fire service worked at RRAD as a weapons Mechanic.

He started AFD Dec of 2024.
Hobbies: Duck hunting, Sh***un Sports, College football
Family: Wife and son (Kylee and Silas)
He is also currently in Paramedic school!

It’s almost that time of year again, you know the busy time full of hustle and bustle kids trying to get on the bus to get to school and folks trying to get to work and vise versus. We just wanted to share this reminder for traffic safety when coming into the traffic areas where school busses are loading and unloading kids at their bus stops. Traffic can be chaotic at this time and we have all been there but please respect the law and be mindful of the little ones and the bigger ones while they get on and off the bus. Please share and as always be safe out there!
