I remember starting my women’s empowerment initiative as a way of filling the void of having a circle of like minded women who needed support in their journey of overcoming life challenges while yet growing in Christ.

For some reason, I had always had a draw for women who needed encouragement in lifestyle changes, whether it was personal or their career, I became sort of a “go to” for assistance.

Little did I know that that was the area in which I was graced to be beneficial for the Kingdom. This became my calling, my way of serving a higher purpose.

I can recall the many questions I proposed to myself during the organization’s formation, first being was I even fit to lead and two, who do I add to the private FB group?

Following the instructions I was given in download, I I began to build this community. I put pen to pad, and from pad to laptop, I began crafting the vision.

At The Lord’s leading, I began to add women that He highlighted into what has now became crafting a space that has become a sanctuary for thousands of women across the country and abroad.

You see, He doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

From the inception, I have said the the ladies, that I too, am being processed as I walk along side you. I am merely the facilitator of a vision that God gave to stand BOLD in Christ while pursuit of your God given purpose, talents, and gifting.

The past ten years have been filled with challenges, triumphs, and countless moments of connection, growth, and love. It’s been a season of incredible kinship and unity.

As we know, to all things there is a season.

As we prepare for the FINAL annual retreat of Dimples & Diamonds next October, I can’t help but feel both nostalgic and excited.

This isn’t an end, but a new beginning—the start of Diamond Living, a new chapter that’s brimming with promise.

We’ve grown from a modest private group to hosting inspiring events nationwide and launching an award-winning podcast on platforms like Apple, Google Play, Podomatic, and Spotify. Now, we’re evolving into The Diamond Life Home lifestyle brand.

Here’s to embracing change and continuing to shine! 🙌🏾”

Jealousy isn’t an emotion feel I anymore because I believe strongly that what God blesses one with the ability to do, He has gifted me with that same capability.

I also feel if you are winning that means I can win too. My mindset is so filled with abundance now, that I cannot help but always feel only more and more capable of greatness when I see others succeed.

When I help others or support others, I feel the possibility’s even the more. 🏆

Today makes a week since we closed out our five day The Diamond LIFE™️ Barbados Experience. These annual retreats for the illustrious community I facilitate are always nothing short of amazing. In the past almost nine years, we have cultivated something that is unique, unmatched, and unwavering.

I can talk all day about the kinship and bond that we share but it does absolutely no justice until it is something you experience for yourself. We are not blood related but related by ‘The Blood’.🩸

We laughed, cried, ate (a lot!), prayed, hugged, and fellowshipped together. Did I mention the food? As the resident foodie, trust me, it was spectacular! 🙋🏾‍♀️

I cherish every moment spent with these incredible women and feel honored to welcome them each year. This year, we chose Barbados as our backdrop, allowing me to reconnect with my West Indian roots.

The culture, people, land, and ocean all played a role in my journey. Witnessing the sugar cane fields and learning about my family’s farming legacy—from my great-grandfather to my grandfather to my father/uncles—reminded me how important it is to know where you come from to in order to reach where you want to go.

Now, the exciting question is: where will our 10-year culmination celebration retreat be? 🤔 Stay tuned for the big reveal! 🎉
