I remember starting my women’s empowerment initiative as a way of filling the void of having a circle of like minded women who needed support in their journey of overcoming life challenges while yet growing in Christ.
For some reason, I had always had a draw for women who needed encouragement in lifestyle changes, whether it was personal or their career, I became sort of a “go to” for assistance.
Little did I know that that was the area in which I was graced to be beneficial for the Kingdom. This became my calling, my way of serving a higher purpose.
I can recall the many questions I proposed to myself during the organization’s formation, first being was I even fit to lead and two, who do I add to the private FB group?
Following the instructions I was given in download, I I began to build this community. I put pen to pad, and from pad to laptop, I began crafting the vision.
At The Lord’s leading, I began to add women that He highlighted into what has now became crafting a space that has become a sanctuary for thousands of women across the country and abroad.
You see, He doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
From the inception, I have said the the ladies, that I too, am being processed as I walk along side you. I am merely the facilitator of a vision that God gave to stand BOLD in Christ while pursuit of your God given purpose, talents, and gifting.
The past ten years have been filled with challenges, triumphs, and countless moments of connection, growth, and love. It’s been a season of incredible kinship and unity.
As we know, to all things there is a season.
As we prepare for the FINAL annual retreat of Dimples & Diamonds next October, I can’t help but feel both nostalgic and excited.
This isn’t an end, but a new beginning—the start of Diamond Living, a new chapter that’s brimming with promise.
We’ve grown from a modest private group to hosting inspiring events nationwide and launching an award-winning podcast on platforms like Apple, Google Play, Podomatic, and Spotify. Now, we’re evolving into The Diamond Life Home lifestyle brand.
