On this past Saturday, I had the honor and privilege to participate for the second year in the Georgia TRIO Student Leadership Conference that took place at my Alma mater! 🎉🎉 This year I served as a Proctor for the “High Q" academic competition for High School Students in Talent Search Programs with two of most comically amazing Co-Proctors (Ms. Ramona Codling and Edward Mobley) who made my experience unforgettable in every way!😁❤️

It’s been a very long time since I’ve actually been on and walked around VSU’s campus. I even had lunch in the Palms Dining Hall where I had not been in over 25 years since my days as a student!🥹The overall experience was very nostalgic and makes me very proud to had spent my day empowering some amazing future scholars!💯💯❤️❤️🌟🌟

Beginning in 2021, EECG chose to become a “Dedicated Donor” to The Pines Family Campus.

The Pines Family Campus provides a 12-month residential substance abuse treatment for women with minor children who recognize substance abuse as a barrier to obtaining and maintaining employment. The primary purpose of this program is to assist these women in achieving total abstinence from all mood- and mind-altering substances, maintaining employment, and being successful with their children in order to avoid child displacement or foster care due to ongoing substance use.

It is EECG’s desire to provide everyday tools, essentials resources and services that will empower and assist the women of this program to holistically and healthily walk out their road of recovery from substances. Personal calendars are a main yearly donation that are provided as a basic tool to the women to help them to rebuild their everyday lives as individuals and as Mothers.

Most importantly, the ultimate purpose of EECG is to be the “hands & feet” of Jesus Christ in every way in its efforts to meet the needs of these women and their children. To God be the Glory for what He has done!🙌🏾🙌🏾👆🏾❤️

This event is to inspire you to courageously manage college life beyond the books!

There will be inspiration through engaging discussions, vendor displays, food, goodie bags and two $100 mini community scholarship giveaways!💵💵💵

There will also be a women’s self defense class hosted by Fit Fighters of Remerton GA to teach Participants how to protect themselves from physical violence and women’s self defense products will be available for purchase from “Fight Back FEMZ”.
