The Emory Green Team

Sustainability in Emory Dining Membership is welcome to anyone interested in participating!

The Emory Dining Green Team is a student group focused on improving environmental policies and practices as they relate to campus dining services. Our aim is to educate the Emory community on the environmental practices of Emory Dining and assist with implementing sustainable changes in the dining program. Members of The Emory Green Team will serve as ambassadors between students/Emory community a

nd Emory Dining; network with farmers, chefs and agencies such as the Department of Natural Resources and the Environmental Protection Agency; and participate in activities such as Wonderful Wednesdays, the Emory Farmers Market, Sustainable Food Fair, website maintenance, monthly awareness meetings and many other opportunities. Sign the petition to label GE foods!

Without labels on genetically engineered food, you have no way of knowing what you're eating for dinner. You have the right to know what's in your food. Tell the FDA to JUST LABEL IT!

Emory Dining is offering a great mini-course for students who want tips on preparing quick, healthy snacks and small meals in their dorm kitchens. Please encourage your network of students to attend this event tomorrow evening IN THE FEW HALL DEMONSTRATION KITCHEN, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
