The SCBA Summer Honey Show was held in Greenville SC this past weekend at Furman University. We had a fabulous time working together as a team. Led by Steve Genta, the Master Chairman, things went very smoothly. Judges Heather Cherry, JoAnn Gabryszak, and Faith Cupka did a great job evaluating the exhibits. Joe Komperda, who recently became a certified judge, served as our secretary. He handled all the paperwork by himself and did it with ease and style. I had the privilege of training stewards Debbie Komperda and Tina Wegmann in beeswax and infused honey. Those two ladies handled the exhibits and set up the show room perfectly. Steve had us all gathered around to train in judging the one frame of comb honey exhibit. I think we all left this show very happy with all our accomplishments and the exhibitors left smiling with their ribbons.
