International Women's Chamber of Commerce

International Women's Chamber of Commerce Originating in 2008 as a group of expatriate women living in Amsterdam, the community has grown and We are ambassadors, mentors and volunteers.

The origins of the International Women's Chamber of Commerce date back to 2008, when a small network of international and expatriate women living in Amsterdam was formed. It's from this group of women that the bonds of sisterhood were formed. The community has grown and evolved into a large network of women entrepreneurs living worldwide. Following the success of our professional networking events

, it was decided that a new platform was needed to promote and support women in business. Consequently, the International Women's Chamber of Commerce (subsidiaries Amsterdam Women's Network and Atlanta Women's Network) was formed. The group began meeting on a regular basis for coffee connections, after work drinks, dinners, etc. We have volunteered at international schools and continue to offer our services to those in need. Business connections have made, jobs secured, businesses formed and life-long friendships forged along the way.

Happy International Women’s Day! It’s our favorite day of the year, when we all come together to celebrate the achievements of women and provide the tools/resources to continue making advancements toward gender equality in entrepreneurship, leadership and the workplace.

This evening, from 5:30-7:30pm, we will be meeting in person in Buckhead for “Small Plates, Big Business.” We will enjoy food, spirits and wine delivered by woman-owned businesses as we hear from the “Women in Diplomacy” panel featuring Consuls representing Ireland, India and Israel. Looking forward to seeing everyone this evening!

In case you can’t make it to the live kickoff, we will be meeting virtually on March 9 & 10 from 1pm-5pm for some amazing virtual networking, panels and speakers with great information that you won’t want to miss.

A special “Thank You” to our sponsors, partners, planning committee and speakers.

(The precise location will be disclosed to registered attendees for security).

MEET THE IWD SPEAKER: Style expert and entrepreneur, Tanjuria Willis has wrestled with the concept of the word, expert, and how it has been defined or described over the years. Her journey to both becoming and embracing being considered a fashion expert is, to say the least, unconventional.

With over three decades of going against the grain as an Electrical Engineering, Technologist turned Magazine Publisher, Personal Stylist, Fashion Show Curator and Producer, Entrepreneur, real-life, in-the-trenches business experience, and most importantly wife and mother, she now understands the journey, for some, is asymmetrical.

In 2002 and with nothing more than belief and determination, Willis (nee Anderson) created Connect Magazine, a lifestyle publication with distribution in Metro Atlanta and via mail subscription. In 2014, she developed eKlozet Luxury Consignment, with the vision of helping and affording women the ability to define and develop their style to feel good both inside and out. She understood as well the impact gently used luxury consignment could have on the carbon footprint of our environment. An earth friendly, sustainable fashion company was born.
