William James & Rosa Lee Little Foundation, LLC.

The William James & Rosa Lee Little Foundation, LLC is a years long endeavor that I have been working on since its inception, August 26, 2013. I was inspired by the lives of my parents, William & Rosa Little, and also my husbands grandparents, H.E. & Alice Wilkerson, in regard to the impact they made in how they lived their lives and values they instilled within my husband and I, as well as the work done within their communities during their lifetime.

Our organization has helped Atlanta Metropolitan area families by providing them with various life essentials which have been critical in the sustainment of the next best step in their lives. We have assisted Atlanta Metropolitan Area families, providing opportunities to improve the quality of their current and future circumstances. Currently this includes food, clothing and financial assistance via deposits for apartments, utilities/rent assistance, tutorial and college prep services, family, relationship, and healthier living counseling, tuition assistance, and book stipends to families and individuals needing assistance.

My passion to serve was reignited after being homeless from 2004 - 2007. As we bounced from home to home, hotel to hotel and even sleeping in my car, I had fought with everything I had to build a life here in Atlanta, GA because I know this is where I have envisioned myself since 1987. Little did I know that one of my greatest battles came with the gift of recognizing my predestined future. During that time, my 10 year old daughter and I also received assistance from various organizations, it is through all of those experiences, those gifts, and the lessons learned from them that have served as the catalyst of my inspiration to start this nonprofit. And they serve as the root and foundation of this organization that I am building.

I am the CEO, Founder, and Executive Director and my name is Pamla DL Johnson. I graduated Summa Cum Lauda with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management in Business Administration and received an invitation to become a member of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society, and Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. I earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with concentrations in Non-Profit Management and Public Management also as a member of Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration and am also a member of Blacks In Government.
