After following her journey seeing how symbolic it is to how we carry our own grief my heart yearns for her. Grief is not something you can turn on and off by a switch. So whether it takes 17 days or 17 years everyone’s journey is theirs so don’t be quick to judge or dismiss it. 😢

October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month and as we kick off the first day of October we would like to remind you that 1 in 4 women represent the face of miscarriages, stillbirths, and infant loss.

Our founder Shanti Ray created Sarai Cares to serve as a catalyst to unmask the stigma of verbalizing the pain associated with pregnancy loss. As one in four women who have suffered pregnancy loss through stillbirth, her goal is to help raise awareness and offer support and comfort to women who are coping with this life changing experience.

Please share our message to raise awareness in your communities and circle of influence so that we can continue providing support to angel mommies on their healing journey.

Today is your day... From heart beat to no heart beat. To the labor pains and contractions. To having had the honor of carrying you to bearing the burden of saying goodbye before we had the chance to say hello.

To not knowing how I would survive without you. To taking one day at a time in the healing process and not doing it alone. Because of you life for me is different, my fight is different, my message and delivery is different.

Today you would've been 9 so to honor your memory and celebrate you, may my continuous commitment to random acts of kindness be befitting.

Happy Angelversary Sarai mommy will continue to keep your memory alive.
