Have you ever tried to travel with too much? Too many bags, too much weight, trying to keep up with everything at once?

At some point, you realize you’re carrying more than you need, and it’s slowing you down.

Life can feel the same way. What once felt normal can start to feel uncertain; the noise gets louder, and before you know it, you’re carrying more than you were meant to carry. It becomes harder to see clearly and easier to miss what really matters.

But God is not distant in moments like this. He is present, steady, and already at work, even when life feels unfamiliar or unsettled.

This summer, join us as we learn to slow down, travel light, and trust God with what we’ve been carrying. You don’t have to carry it all alone. There’s a place for you here.

God is with you, holding you steady.

Join us in-person or online this Sunday at 9:30am or 11am!

When you remember that you belong to God, you begin to recognize His presence in every season of life. 🙌

Even when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or difficult, God is still at work. He is moving in the waiting, strengthening you through the struggle, and guiding you even when you can't see the full path ahead.

Your circumstances may change, but God's faithfulness never does. When you keep your eyes on Him, you'll find peace in knowing that He is with you, working all things together for His purpose. ✨❤️

When life’s a lot, it may cause you to question things, it may stretch you, and it may even cause uncertainty about what’s next, but it does not separate you from God.

After everything you’ve gone through, you still belong to God.

God’s people are at the edge of the Promised Land and Moses reminds the people who they are before they move into what’s next.

The people were the second generation of Israel (children during the Exodus, teenagers during the wandering, or born entirely in the wilderness).

They inherited a story they did not fully experience personally and Moses asks, “Will you trust God for yourselves?”

And now they are standing at the edge of the Promised Land trying to figure out, “who are we now?”

When life is a lot, we live in survival mode and question our identity and sense of belonging.

Wilderness seasons may change your circumstances, but they do not change who you belong to.

Belonging in the Bible is not, “Do people like me?”

Biblical belonging is: “Whose am I?”, “Who walks with me?”, “What story am I part of?”

Belonging isn’t just about remembering what God did for you yesterday, it’s about remembering who you are today and tomorrow, after everything you’ve been through.

Relief: REMEMBER God meets you when life feels heavy.
Seen: REMEMBER God sees you even when overlooked.
Courage: REMEMBER God provides strength to move forward.
Ignite: REMEMBER God is with you in hard seasons.
Belong: REMEMBER You’re not alone and still belong to God.

Before God’s people move into what’s next, Moses keeps telling them, “Don’t forget.”

Don’t forget what God taught you when life was hard. You didn’t have to do it alone. There’s a place for you.

God wants to ignite something THROUGH you, not just IN you. ✨

The world needs to hear that God is still working in the waiting… still moving in the uncertainty… still faithful in the in-between. And sometimes, the message He wants others to hear starts with the story He’s writing in us. 🤍

When life is a lot, and when life drains you, God reignites you!

God meets you in the middle of real life. He ignites what feels empty in you, not by changing everything around you, but by placing His presence inside you.

In Acts 2: 1-1, Jesus is gone. His followers watched Him leave.

They were trying to hold everything together. They were uncertain how they would show up for work, for their family, and their responsibilities. They were afraid of what would happen next.

Jesus gave them instructions to wait in Jerusalem and to stay in the place where everything had gone wrong.

Sometimes the hardest thing God asks you to do is to stay in the very place you want to leave, but the place you want to leave might be the place God wants to meet you.

So, they waited in a place that didn’t feel safe. Suddenly, a sound like a rushing wind filled the room and fire appeared, resting on ordinary people.

In the Bible, fire represents God’s presence and power. That fire isn’t far away from you because He knows how to reach you where you are.

God’s presence and power, the promised Spirit of God, descended and enabled them to speak in different languages and everyone heard in their own language.

God doesn’t just ignite something in us; He wants to ignite something through us!

God ignites your voice, helping you to say what needs to be said, and helps people hear and understand you.

The Holy Spirit didn’t remove the challenge but gave them power and presence within the challenge.

Tomorrow is Memorial Day, a day where we remember those who gave their lives, and today on Pentecost, we’re reminded that God gives His Spirit, so we can live with purpose.

When life drains you, God reignites you, not when everything settles down, but right in the middle of it, because God is with you.

When you feel drained or running low, pause and pray: “God, ignite something in me today!”, and stay open to where God may be working through you.

If you weren't able to join us this morning, you can still worship with us!
