When life doesn't go according to plan, faith asks a different question:

"God, what are You doing here?"

Sometimes the interruption is exactly where God meets us, redirects us, and invites us into something new.

Feeling weighed down by everything life is throwing at you?

You weren't meant to carry it all alone.

God walks with us, and He gives us community to help carry the load. That's what we're striving to be at Snellville Community Church.

Life is hard. You don't have to do it alone. ❤️

There's a place for you here.

Have you ever received information that changed the future you thought you had?

What feels like an interruption to you may be part of God’s direction for you.

Proverbs was written primarily by King Solomon who was known for asking God for wisdom.

He wasn't writing for perfect people but for ordinary people trying to navigate everyday life.

Solomon reminds God’s people that you make plans for the road, but the road doesn't always follow your plans.

God sees the whole road when we can only see the next turn and God wants to guide your steps.

You don't have to know everything. You don't have to control everything. You can trust the One who sees what you cannot.

You are responsible for your plans, but God is ultimately responsible for your direction.

Our plans are like a map and when the map changes, God is still present. God is still working. God is still leading.

When plans change, maybe the diagnosis wasn’t part of the plan: the relationship changed, the job ended, the retirement doesn’t look like you expected, the grief is lasting longer than you thought...

God invites us to travel light by releasing what we cannot control by trusting in God's direction and taking the next faithful step. Because what feels like an interruption may be God's direction.

This week, when an unexpected delay, change, or interruption occurs, pause before reacting and ask: “Could this interruption be part of God's direction for me?" Then take a moment to pray before deciding your next step.

If you weren’t able to join us this morning, you can still worship with us!

Last week, we reflected on how when life gets loud, we don’t always recognize the burdens we’re carrying. In the midst of life’s shaking, we can easily miss what matters most: God is with us, holding us steady.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00 AM as we discover that when plans change, and what feels like an interruption in our lives, may actually be God's invitation to a new direction.

Our plans may look like a carefully drawn map, but when the route changes, God remains faithful. God is still present. God is still working. God is still leading.

We can't wait to worship with you this Sunday!

Waiting is hard.

We wait for answers, healing, direction, and change. And when nothing seems to be happening, it's easy to wonder if God is working at all.

But waiting doesn't mean God is absent.

Even when you can't see it, God is still at work—in you and around you. If you're in a season of waiting, don't lose hope. You're not waiting alone.

Sometimes the noise of life makes it hard to recognize God's presence. But even in the chaos, He is there.

This week, take a moment to slow down and simply be. Reflect on the baggage you're carrying and ask yourself: What might God be inviting you to lay down?

What would it look like to travel a little lighter?
