This was Ava at Dylan's 3rd birthday party (on the left), and tomorrow her little brother turns 12! We busted her out of the hospital for his party and she was all smiles! Unforunately what the picture doesnt show is that she had some heart complications that were causing her to take on extra fluid to her little body and I had to rush her right back for more tests and procedures. Your little brother misses you Ava Lynn! September is also Childhood cancer awareness month and we love seeing all the Gold out!

September is Childhood cancer awareness month, and these are two words that should never be combined. Child + cancer. We need your help in spreading awareness, as awareness leads to funding and the funding for child related cancers is paltry. Do whatever you can, big or small. It all adds up and the research does make a difference to help these children. When my daughter Ava was sick and going through treatment she said “I love everyone, even people I don’t know.” Please help spread the Love!

Really missing this one. It’s been a rough few months on the roller coaster of grief. I did get to spend some alone time with her today and talk to her. Something I haven’t done in awhile. And when I got home and was going through yesterday’s mail, I opened this. It’s funny how things happen sometimes, right? I needed this though. It’s a nice reminder that she lives on in more then just my memory and the occasional dream about her when I’m lucky enough to have them. My first love. My sweet angel. ❤️
For those of you that do donate to Childhood Cancer...here’s what it goes to. Studies like this. So that hopefully, someday, there won’t be a mother out there like me grieving for the loss of her child from cancer. Thank you always for your continued support. 💛🎗
