Apply now; space is limited! Applications are open for Inclusive Futures, Jewish Roots! Hosted by JAccess, this six-session leadership and learning experience is designed for Jewish parents and caregivers raising children with disabilities. Participants will build community, explore Jewish values of belonging and dignity, and gain practical tools to advocate for meaningful inclusion in Jewish spaces.

This cohort is reflective, relational, and interactive, with sessions focused on belonging, advocacy, leadership, inclusion, and building a full and meaningful Jewish life for every child.

Date: Begins September 16
Time: Session times vary
Cost: Free

Women’s Philanthropy’s annual Lion of Judah & Pomegranate Luncheon returns September 30 with special guest Jackie Tohn — actress, writer, comedian, and breakout star of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This! Join us for an afternoon of laughter, storytelling, connection, and celebration as Jackie shares stories from her career, her Jewish journey, and the experiences that have shaped her along the way.

We’ll also celebrate the incredible impact of women’s philanthropy and honor Ellen Arnovitz, this year’s recipient of the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award.

In her two years at Federation, Shelley has strengthened our partnerships with local day schools, created new professional development opportunities, and championed programs supporting educator wellness. With extensive experience as a classroom teacher and principal, Shelley brings both deep expertise and a passion for strengthening Jewish education.
We’re excited to see Shelley build on the strong foundation of this work and continue making a meaningful impact on educators, students, and families across our community.
