Last night was the final class for this group! These are the key takeaways:

Prepare for growth by embracing solitude when needed, and trust your intuition to guide you forward while welcoming support along the way.

Growing up as a preacher's kid, I was taught to live a certain way. But eventually, I had to leave behind old beliefs to form a true relationship with the God/Divine Source/Universe/The All. What I once knew turned on its head, and I had to reconnect with the Source to seek answers. I learned that prioritizing others over myself was misleading and sacrificing myself for others wasn’t the way.

When I began to ask what my soul truly wanted, I faced many trials to open my eyes to what is real. My ego fought me, and life challenged me, but ultimately, life won, and I had to change, letting parts of myself that weren’t real die away. Ignorance isn’t bliss. Those I trusted the most, who I gave all my trust, were secretly setting me up to fail.

Walking alone and listening only to my intuition, I started living the life I was meant to live. I was told I’d be the Abraham of my family, but I didn't know it would change me so profoundly. If you knew me before, you don’t know me now, and that’s why we no longer walk together. Believing in the God we serve also meant believing in myself and trusting the process, moving forward with bravery.

If you knew what I’ve been through, you’d be amazed. Without growth and change, I wouldn’t be the hero of my own life. Now, I use the synergy of my energy with others and stand firmly on my own two feet. My no is firm, and when I’m ready, I move forward. Codependency made me weak, but deciding to become the transformational leader I was meant to be has empowered me.

Do you know who you really are? Are you willing to get to know the real you and walk away from what you’re told to be? Live authentically as long as you’re honest with yourself. We have the potential to align with the currents of the Universe rather than against them. Life has its ebbs and flows, ups and downs, wins and failures. The key is to ride those waves to become your highest, best self.

Answer only to yourself and your higher power. You don’t need permission to be who you were ordained to be. The process of life is about unlearning what you’ve been taught to become your true self. Good versus evil is real, but intuition helps discern the blurred lines. Titles mean nothing if you can’t be considerate while leading. True leadership is about serving and training, not just commanding.

Remember, good employees don’t leave amazing organizations—they leave poor leadership. Be true to yourself and never settle for less than what you truly desire. Reclaim your power and energy to live your full truth. We’re all here to learn and grow, so ignore distractions and look within. This happens through meditation, mindful breathing, and choosing happiness regardless of circumstances. There is no lack or scarcity, just our perception-there’s only abundance in the earth. Yours is waiting for you!

We put all our worth in what we do. The Source of All puts worth in who we are!

Step into the unknown and become unpredictable. Be your own best friend and cheerleader as you embrace interdependency and release codependency. There are systems in play that we only understand when we truly open our eyes. Strongholds appear when you declare you want change. Move towards your true purpose as a leader, learning through experience.

Be honest with yourself and choose you above all else. You can be the leader others expect or the person you dream of. Failures are part of the journey, but what’s worth having is worth fighting for. As Brené Brown says in "Daring Greatly," get into the arena and go for it. Be okay with "Failing Forward," as John Maxwell puts it. Learn, pivot, and be grateful for everything you have.

Only you can do this. It will be the toughest battle you’ve ever fought, but it’s time to be the leader you’re meant to be, even if it’s just for your family. Focus on what you want, no matter what you see, and life will change. Look for synchronicities and keep going. Use your imagination to see your desires manifest, and stay in that vision as much as possible. Your new self is searching for you, and you are being drawn toward it.

Embrace your journey with grace and persistence. You have the power within you to transform and lead authentically.

Last night’s takeaways!

Teaching: Limiting Beliefs & Hiding Behind your Preferences (Prejudices)

Prejudices are deeply held preferences that can become ingrained in our reality (masks of codependency). As leaders, our mission is to unite towards growth and camaraderie, fostering independent thinking while minimizing emotional control. We must guide others towards a shared goal.

Life is a journey of ebbs and flows. We need to navigate it without trying to control the currents or narratives. Though we are different, we all seek peace, protection, honor, safe homes, and better futures for our children. By starting with these common desires, we can transform the world from one of conflict to one of unity, reducing discrimination.

To expose and overcome our biases, we must gently remove negative self-talk and limiting beliefs. This journey towards becoming truly limitless aligns with the intentions of the God/Divine Source/Universe/The All from the beginning. By working on ourselves, others' growth and changing perspectives won't threaten us. Instead, we'll seek deeper connections, creating a positive shift in how we operate as a people.

Embracing change requires kindness towards ourselves. Be gentle as you process your preferences and prejudices. Remember, this is all you know until you change your mindset. Commit to small daily efforts to open your heart to love, truth, and unity. Together, we can build a world where unity prevails over prejudice.

Let's embrace a new way of thinking that values life and well-being above all. Prejudices and limiting beliefs are illusions that we can overcome with kindness and self-growth. By fostering unity and compassion, we all benefit. Be kind to yourself and others as we collectively break free from the illusions and outdated rhetoric that have held us back in America & beyond. Together, we can create a better future for everyone.

**I was nervous to teach this class, but it went very well. As a woman of color, I often enter spaces and hear, "Who does she think she is?" This sentiment comes from both sides of the spectrum (I’ve said to too-limiting beliefs). I've lived a life in the shadows of tolerance, but now I am transforming the pain of every trial and test to help others succeed.

I choose to respond with empathy and love, instead of mirroring those who acted out of ignorance. Yes, they knew what they were doing, but they didn't understand that we are all connected. When you hurt me, you hurt yourself too—it’s a boomerang effect. I've taken these uncomfortable moments and chosen to grow, to forgive, and to become better instead of bitter.

Let's operate more in love and unity, so we can all experience real growth together.**

The conversation last night! It really was a moment of lots of epiphanies!

As you graduate and move forward in your education, remember that life will also call you to leave behind people who no longer match your growth. Sometimes, this means letting go of everyone you’ve ever known. Your personal hero’s journey is beckoning you to keep going, despite struggles, pain, heartbreak, and cutting the cords of the past from your heart.

Embrace the moments when you might walk alone, for destiny helpers and assisters will always show up when you need them. You are worth the journey to see what’s on the other side! Trust that God, Divine Source, or The All is truly all you need. Remember, out of difficulties grow new beginnings I trust the process! Be like Abraham—take the leap and leave to discover who you really are. The adventure of your life awaits!

Envision the life you want and turn away from what doesn't align with that vision. Create a new life, free from the past. If you don't like what you see, use your imagination to create an alternative space and become who you want to be. Don’t just do—become the new you. Change your clothing, behavior, and mindset, and your new world will appear before your eyes.

When a door closes, don't beat on it. You may have more learning and growing to do before it reopens, or it could be closed forever. Trust the process and seek guidance for your next step. Keep moving forward—you are too important to quit on yourself.

If others demand proof of your progress, invite them to see for themselves. You owe nothing but to live authentically, love others, and fulfill your purpose. Like Nehemiah, work diligently and protect your progress. Not everyone will be ready to see you grow and mature, but do it anyway. It's about your growth, not theirs. Embrace failure as part of the process.

Take action now. Become the person you aspire to be and watch your new world unfold.

04/10/2019

Hello everyone,

I’ve been working hard on the new projects that God have me to push out. I’ve been so busy & just staying in His presence when I noticed something.

I had prayed a small prayer a while back about growing & maturing in Him. What I noticed next was tests that looked the same but were completely different. I wanted to handle them the same way, but I heard rest & answers came because I went to Him & began to ask questions how to proceed. Usually I would just make a decision & sometimes screw stuff up! However I paused & some He said sever & move forward, while others He said give grace & go forward.

Some days I think I know what’s going on but most of the time I’m just like what’s next God? I don’t know if anyone else is in this boat as well, but I don’t claim to know all the answers to life or which way to go! All I can say is sit still before making a decision & get peace about it!

One day you will be the teacher but most days you will be the student & just sitting at His feet for answers! Some days you will screw it up & others you will be spot on! It’s ok! Just don’t give up on yourself! Keep forging through it all to victory!

Side note: there will be others during this time that will just misunderstand you & even criticize you to no end. But stay the course & remain focused on what He said & what you were last told to do!

I hope this helped someone out there today! Stay focused, grow, mature, learn, & continue to give grace even when it doesn’t come back to you-hard to do sometimes, no lie!

Smooches enjoy your day! I don’t know it all I just wanted to give some encouragement!

Just looking at this woman you wouldn’t know she has been through the ringer in life. From 6-16 yrs of age she was r***d/molested in her mothers home that was riddled with drugs & alcohol. She was r***d by a preacher at 10 yrs of age after church, because she needed to tell someone about what happened to her but he was a pe*****le as well. The torture finally stopped when God sent a prophetess in her life to speak to her mom to quick physically, emotionally, & controlling her through abuse! When she was 21 she was r***d by a Caucasian in the military on her 🎂 birthday!! They covered it up & sent her back to the US after the incident! She began to get help & seek refuge in friends. She now has a nonprofit (Refuge Women’s Transition Center) to help women in transition in Atlanta, GA. She’s also a VP of Atlanta, GA with CBE-Voices of Color helping other women with trauma issues! i tried to push it off until my daughter was r***d at 14, then my warrior kicked in!! She also has groups that get together to combat these concerns!!! We have lawyers that fight these cases for us & win!!! If you or someone you know has endured these issues please reach out to her/him!!! We all need each other!! She smiles so much so no one would ever know, that’s how good God really is!! He takes the pain & gives you joy instead!!!

Founder-Refuge Women's Transition Center

We’re fortunate enough to have a roof over our heads, someone to assist when things get hard, or just to get a hand up instead of a hand out.  That isn't the case for most women and they turn to other things to helps ends meet, even things they wouldn't normally do under better circumstances.
