Stories of grandeur or stories of monotony; there is no one person in past, present, or future existence whose story will not carry some significance. We started this website out of this belief; out of a grown weariness of hearing from the same famous people over and over. Because everyone has a story to tell, and because we think it’s time for the Secret People to share a piece of their lives wit
h us. Our hope is that you will glean from these Secret People’s insight on life and living; that their stories will invite you to stop reaching for the golden ring. We believe it is of utmost importance to focus on the people around you and the tasks set before you each day, regardless of the level of brokenness we face. We recognize that not every day looks beautiful; especially when you do not take the time to make it beautiful. Our hope -- our deeply rooted desire -- is that through these stories you will find the bits of beauty in brokenness, that you will feel more satisfied and content with your life because life is made up of fractured moments and put-together moments. In the end, it’s not the American Dream that matters, it’s the people you share your life with.
