ITNS Georgia Chapter

ITNS Georgia Chapter ITNS GA exists to increase transplant education for transplant professionals in the southeast.

Knox was born with a rare genetic condition called OTC Deficiency. As a result, his body could not process protein properly, causing toxic ammonia levels in his body. Knox was a severe case, and his genetics team suggested a liver transplant as his best course of treatment. His dad underwent living donor testing, and they learned he was a perfect match! In August 2022, at just 5 months old, Knox received a portion of his dad's liver, saving his life. πŸ’™πŸ’š Learn more about living donation and register your decision to be an organ, eye and tissue donor at DonateLife.net

We are always amazed by our front line workers! Thanks to the DMV for being such an asset to donor registration and organ donation awareness.

September is National DMV Appreciation Month! πŸ’™πŸ’š During this month, we recognize the vital role of DMVs and Driver License Partners (DLPs) in saving and healing lives. DMV staff ask the donor registration question to customers every day. Our DMV partners are the people on the front lines of service who have helped more than 170 million people across the country register their decision to be a deceased organ, eye and tissue donor.
Join us in thanking our DMV partners for their incredible work in saving lives through donation and transplantation! πŸš— Learn more at https://donatelife.net/how-you-can-help/national-observances-celebrations/dmv-month/
