Meet James. ❤️

James is outgoing, talkative, and knows how to connect with the people around him. He loves staying active, playing basketball and football, listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with friends.

His involvement in JROTC has given him structure and purpose, and he has big goals for his future, including plans to enlist in the military.

James is looking for a family who will offer consistency, encouragement, and support as he continues building the future he dreams of. He deserves a family who will believe in him, invest in him, and help him know that he truly belongs.

Meet some incredible kids we recently met at I Belong Project events in Kentucky! Our amazing Kentucky Kids Belong team had the opportunity to spend time with Devon, Makayla, Maranda, Bella, Xavier, and James during thoughtfully designed days where kids are celebrated, encouraged, and free to simply be themselves.

Meet Devon 😊
Devon is bright, happy, funny, and kind! He loves playing with other kids, making friends, giving hugs, and trying new things. He is affectionate, outgoing, and always ready to help. Devon would thrive with a loving, active family who enjoys spending time together.

Meet Makayla 🎤
Makayla is creative, expressive, and caring! She loves music, singing, dancing, reading, and spending time with her favorite Squishmallows. She also enjoys dressing up, doing her makeup, and getting her nails done. Makayla hopes for a family where she feels loved, respected, and safe.

Meet Maranda 🌟
Maranda is energetic, friendly, and independent! She loves learning, making friends, and taking on responsibilities. She forms strong bonds with her caregivers and brings contagious enthusiasm wherever she goes. Maranda would thrive with a loving, patient, and supportive family.

Sofia spent 11 years in foster care and aged out at 21. She joined us to share her story, the challenges she faced, and what she wishes foster parents understood about young people in care.
After everything she experienced, Sofia says there are two things every young person in foster care really needs: love and stability.
Because sometimes, what a young person needs most is simply to know that someone cares about their well-being, believes in them, and wants to see them become the best version of themselves.

Meet some incredible kids we recently met at I Belong Project events in Tennessee! Our amazing Tennessee Kids Belong team had the opportunity to spend time with Cayla, Hayden, Kayden, Skott, Hunter, and Jer’Darius during thoughtfully designed days where kids are celebrated, encouraged, and free to simply be themselves.
Meet Cayla 🎨
Cayla is funny, quiet, and creative! She loves making jewelry, drawing, painting, reading fantasy books, and spending time with animals. She dreams of becoming a veterinarian and hopes to find a thoughtful, kind forever family who will support her dreams.
Meet Hayden 🧩
Hayden is an open-minded and hopeful teen who knows what he wants in life. He enjoys mythology and astrology, LEGO, video games, crossword puzzles, and spending time outdoors. Hayden hopes for a supportive family who will encourage him to express himself and embrace the things that matter to him.
Meet Kayden 🎮
Kayden is a loving boy who gives the biggest hugs and gets excited to see the people he cares about! He loves video games, electronics, watching TV, playing outside, and trying new foods. Kayden values structure and consistency and looks forward to finding his forever family.
Meet Skott 🎨
Skott is smart, creative, and resourceful! He loves swimming, climbing, LEGO, art, video games, and cooking. Math is his favorite subject, and he dreams of attending culinary school. Skott would thrive with a loving, caring, and supportive family who can provide structure and opportunities to create.

Meet Blake! 💙

Blake is kind, friendly, outgoing, and always ready to help. He loves basketball, puzzles, reading, P.E., and watching his favorite hero movies. He also has a curious side and enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together!

We loved getting to spend time with Blake at a recent I Belong Project event in Georgia. He deserves a loving, patient family who will celebrate who he is, encourage his interests, and give him the support and one-on-one attention he needs to thrive.
