What happens when talent development professionals gather to practice facilitation instead of just talking about it?

Momentum.

This week ATD Greater Atlanta members participated in FLOW in Practice: Experiential Leadership & Facilitation Lab, an interactive learning session led by Cornelius Dowdell of The Best Workplace.

Participants explored facilitation tools and techniques designed to increase engagement in training environments, including:

• Rapid entry activities
• Structured peer feedback
• Practice-based learning cycles
• Creative facilitation tools that spark participation
The room was filled with energy, experimentation, and practical ideas that members can immediately bring back to their own organizations.

Thank you to everyone who joined us Friday for ATD Atlanta’s 3rd Fridays! These casual gatherings are always a great opportunity to connect with fellow learning and development professionals, exchange ideas, and explore new tools and approaches shaping our field.

Each session brings meaningful conversations, practical insights, and a reminder of the value of community in our profession. Fresh perspectives and actionable ideas consistently come out of these meetups.
