This Sunday, slow down and reconnect with the creek with guided sketching and writing prompts. We will walk the creekside trails, observe wildlife, and settle in for a nature journaling session by the water. Bring your favorite journal, or use one that we provide.

Happy Fall Equinox! Thank you for gathering to explore the forest and watershed together! We identified trees, talked about signs that help us to read the forest, discovered beaver lodges and dams, and marked the turning of the season together 🧡🦫🌲

A silver-spotted skipper (Epargyreus clarus) enjoying nectar from Pickerelweed (Pontederia cordata). You can spot these in the restored wetland habitat at Friendship Forest Wildlife Sanctuary in Clarkston.
