🔥 IAFF WINS FOR ATLANTA FIREFIGHTERS 🔥

Two major victories for Atlanta firefighters and their families:

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 12 WEEKS OF PAID FAMILY LEAVE
Our members will now have expanded paid family leave, giving firefighters more time to care for and bond with their families when it matters most.

👏 A special thank you to Councilmember Matt Westmoreland for sponsoring the paid family leave legislation and supporting Atlanta firefighters and their families.

🩺 COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL PHYSICALS + CANCER SCREENINGS
Atlanta firefighters will also receive comprehensive annual physicals that include cancer screenings—an important step toward early detection and protecting members from the long-term health effects of occupational exposures. 🎗️

These victories are the result of sustained IAFF advocacy and an Executive Board committed to improving the health, safety, and quality of life of our members.

💪 Thank you to our Executive Board for putting in the work, staying engaged, and continuing to move these priorities forward.

🔥🚒 In the past few days there have been numerous fires in the city. Luckily our members saw this fire while on another call and made a quick response.

Crews saw the flames two blocks away while on another call.
