Emory Hindu Students Association

Emory Hindu Students Association All people of all identities are welcome.

HSA Emory is a non-denominational and unaffiliated group for all people, regardless of identity, to learn with each other in Dharma as we progress on our own spiritual paths toward truth, peace and inner happiness. The Hindu Students Association at Emory University seeks to provide a means for Emory students to come together and learn about Dharma, Hindu culture, and philosophy. We promote Dharma

through various events held throughout the year which provide an open and friendly environment for people of all backgrounds to learn about Hinduism. Our main goals include:

-Spreading awareness and knowledge of Dharma through discussion of our beliefs, practices, and scriptures.

-Building a strong community atmosphere away from home for students interested in practicing and learning about Dharma through puja services, temple visits, and the celebration of Hindu festivals.

-Reaching out to the greater Atlanta community by performing seva (community service), a central tenet of Hinduism. Consistent with our open and accepting nature, Hindu Students Association at Emory is free from any and all political and national ties with other organizations and operates completely autonomously.
