Today we honor the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man whose life reflected the highest principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

Dr. King’s commitment to justice, equality, and peace reminds us that the work of building a better world begins within ourselves. Like the Mason’s journey from darkness to light, his legacy challenges us to labor for harmony, to stand firm for what is right, and to treat all humanity on the level.

May we continue to square our actions by virtue, circumscribe our passions, and walk uprightly as we carry forward his dream of unity and understanding among all people.
