Global Hip Hop Studies: General Call for Papers

Global Hip Hop Studies is a rigorous and community-responsive, peer-reviewed and Open Access academic journal that publishes research on contemporary as well as historical issues and debates surrounding hip hop music and culture around the world, twice annually.

The editors are thrilled to announce an open call for submissions for GHHS 7.1, for publication in 2026. Submission on any aspect of hip hop culture in our wide variety of formats are welcomed.
