As the daytime festivities dwindle down, and you're settling for a nice dinner with family, we wish you a powerful and strengthening Mother's Day.

Mothers are often the first to notice something is wrong, the first to push for answers, and the last to stop fighting. In the fight against pediatric brain cancer, the battle is relentless.

The research Ian's Friends Foundation funds is for them too. Behind every child facing a brain tumor is a mother who deserves to hear the word "cure."

Celebrate the mothers in your life with a night that means something. Join us at the IFF Evening of Inspiration in Los Angeles featuring Mustache Harbor live.

Tickets are available now at iansfriendsfoundation.org.

Dozens of tumor types. Dozens of different challenges. One devastating impact on children.

Pediatric brain cancer demands a level of precision that current medicine is still working to achieve. The blood-brain barrier blocks most chemotherapy drugs from ever reaching a tumor. Tumor location often determines what treatment is even possible before anything else is considered. Most cancer research is built on adult biology; children are left with treatments that were never designed for them.

That funding gap is what Ian's Friends Foundation exists to close.

Every child deserves a full life: a first day of school, a last day of school, a best friend, a bad haircut they'll laugh about later, a future they get to choose.

Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children. The research that could change that remains one of the most underfunded areas in all of pediatric medicine.

All month, we're going gray to change that. We're sharing what that means, what the science looks like, and why it matters to give those children a chance to live.

Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer-related death in children.

One in five childhood cancer deaths traces back to a brain tumor, yet research funding for pediatric brain cancer remains far below what the numbers demand.

May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month. Wearing gray is one way to acknowledge that gap and the children affected by it. 🩶

To everyone who rolled up their sleeves at our Atlanta blood drive, thank you!

What you gave took time. It took courage. It was a tangible act of love for children fighting pediatric brain tumors and the families who stand beside them.

Every donation matters. We are grateful beyond words for this community. 💙

From Cheryl Yagoda:

This past week, Ian's Friends Foundation joined leading neuro-oncologists and researchers from Rady Children’s, Stanford, UCSF, Memorial Sloan Kettering, Toronto SickKids, and Children’s National at a global science conference attended by more than 3,500 specialists in their respective fields.

Together, we are hoping to foster powerful new partnerships between the U.S. and Israel—uniting brilliance, drive, determination, and an unwavering commitment to finding a cure.
Here’s to a future built on collaboration… and to breakthroughs we believe are within reach.

Our blood drive, scheduled for tomorrow, January 31st, has been postponed due to inclement weather!

We apologize for the last-minute announcement. We are working on rescheduling the drive. Once we have a new date and time set, we will send out the reminder for everyone.

Thank you to those who registered and were prepared to provide life-saving blood for pediatric cancer patients.
